My name is Steve Spinner, and I’m the Director of Medicare Advantage Sales here at New Horizons. The 2020 AEP season is coming up fast, and I wanted to take a quick moment to highlight the Medicare Advantage space.
First of all, we’re going into the second year for Lasso Healthcare’s MSA plan. It’s going to be available in 26 states and D.C, and the deposit has increased substantially. While the deductible also increased, the total responsibility of the member went down, so that’s incredible. Also, the commission is very attractive, and it’s for life.
For those of you that don’t know, the Lasso MSA plan is ZERO premium, there’s no network, it comes with an annual deposit, and you can choose your one standalone Part D plan to go with it. If you’re not all set up to offer that this year, NOW is the time to do it!
You need to complete the AHIP and also a short online certification with Lasso. I want to put myself out there as a resource for you as you start the contracting and sales process.
