What a difference three months can make! Isn't it incredible what our country, and really the world, has gone through here with this COVID-19 in the last few months?

But, we're all still standing, aren't we?

Going into it, I know it affected our businesses – it couldn't help it. We had to change. We were really forced to make some changes. But thankfully, with technology and everyone that knows me knows I am the most un-technological – can't even say it – guy. But with technology, we've really been able to navigate well – so much better than what we originally anticipated.

Here are a couple of things we've learned.

E-Applications

I know a lot of you have never done an electronic application before, but you are now. Hats off to you.

We can still serve our customers and write applications over the phone and on our computer. If you don't know how to do that or you still feel unsure or you'd like to learn more, check out this full guide: Everything You Need to Know About Medicare Supplement E-Apps

Zoom Calls

Some of you have experimented with Zoom calls. We've been doing them internally with our staff here, and it isn't the same as being belly to belly, but it's darn close. So many of your customers are comfortable with that. We can educate them on how to do that.

So again, if that's something you'd like to learn and lean into more, check out this guide: How to Use Zoom for Client Video Conferences

Conclusion

In summary, we have some really great resources that will help you be more confident and more comfortable in working remotely from your home or from your office.

Let's all stick together as we all go forward.

What changes have you made to serve your clients during COVID-19?
